I am currently working at an advertising agency as a Front End Web Developer, working with clients such as Waitrose, Proctor and Gamble, Lexus, Toyota, NS&I, Aviva and Visit Wales. I am looking to enter a new role where i can use my diverse skill set on creative, intelligent and cutting edge digital work.

Experience
Web Developer January 08 - Present
Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, Farringdon, London
- Built company website (http://www.kitcattnohrdigitas.com) using Drupal CMS, jQuery and PHP. Also ensured that the site and videos would work on iOS devices for personal presentations.
- Designed (front and back ends) and developed internal employee appraisal tool from scratch using PHP, jQuery and mySQL this involved translating my existing knowledge of ASP to PHP.
- Implemented front end for a Facebook landing page for Eukanuba (P&G)
- Developed an easy to update front-end to be used across multiple projects for client (Lexus) using XHTML, CSS, CSS3 and jQuery.
- Developed email templates allowing client services/designers to create emails without the need for developers for Waitrose ECRM.
- Attending "Work In Progress" meetings and assessing client needs and that all work can be completed on time and on budget.
- Created and implemented guidelines for creating emails that work on all email clients(including legacy email clients such as Lotus Notes) for Lexus
- During the last few months(and during Technical Directors absence e.g. holidays) I have also taken on the role of technical advisor since the departure of our Technical Director.
Email Campaign Developer August 07 - Jan 08

- Developed a Grease Monkey script that traversed the DOM and re-styled areas of online internal project management tool to aid workflow.
- Initiated the use and integration of Trac as a wiki and code repository.
- Lead developer for Dell Europe emails
- Worked on following clients such as Boots, Tesco, Nike, British Airways, Royal Bank of Scotland, Financial Times and The Telegraph.
Short Term Contract Web Designer July 06 – August 07

- Created HTML emails, animated banners and updated web pages with XHMTML
- Updated newly created wiki with code and process documents.
- Liaising with marketing personnel to insure finished product met their requirements.
- Worked on clients such as Nokia, Siemans, Qualcomm and Ericsson.

SSAM taught me how to work to art/media briefs in a critical way responding to current trends while experimenting with new technologies(hardware and software). The final semester was dedicated to a personal project; I chose to create a 3D environment intended for social interaction. I taught myself Maya (3D package) and UTEd3 (in 4 months inc. production time) for Unreal Tournament 2003

Computing HND gives the student grounding in all technical aspects of computing from systems and networks to object orientated programming.
Leisure Activities
I enjoy seeing bands live and spend most of my time either listening to music or writing instrumental pieces. I currently maintain a website for one of the CEOs of Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, http://www.londonkravmaga.com, which has a custom coded student & content management system with paypal integration.
